Meet the Maker: How The Garden Tablecloth Co. Began

There’s something quietly magical about a table set outside. The dappled light, the clink of glasses, the gentle hum of garden life. For me, it always felt like a small escape—something simple and beautiful, shared with the people I love.

But one sunny afternoon (somewhere between wiping down a wobbly plastic table and struggling to cover it with an ill-fitting cloth), I had a thought: why is it so hard to find a lovely, well-fitting tablecloth that’s actually made for the garden?

That’s where it all began.

I wanted tablecloths that felt like part of the setting—pretty, practical, and made to stay in place even with a parasol up and a breeze blowing. Something cheerful and charming, that made the table look dressed without trying too hard.

And so, The Garden Tablecloth Co. was born.

Each piece we create is designed with real outdoor life in mind: easy to clean, available in all sizes, and complete with that all-important parasol hole (because no one should have to cut their own!). Our prints are inspired by nature—wild herbs, rambling vines, and relaxed countryside colour palettes—and we hope they bring a bit of joy to your everyday.
